| River edge on a rainy day, 11x14" oil on panel |
I’ve spent the entire morning updating my website with current work. I believe in including prices with my artwork on my web site. I’m under the belief that it makes people uncomfortable to ask. Click New oil paintings to check out most of the work I’ve done in the past six months. A few new paintings are listed under Original watercolors as well.
Today’s marsh painting is one I haven’t shared online before today. I did it while attending an Albert Handell mentorship* on St. Simon’s Island in Georgia last November. It was an overcast day, thus most of the colors are cool. Speaking of cool, I’ve decided cold temperatures are something I need to deal with. Too much sitting inside makes Brenda a dull artist.
• Mentorship as opposed to workshop means participants get no hands-on help with their paintings.
